Amazon Prime Wardrobe

I know I’ve done this before, but I always love sharing my Amazon finds with you guys! You can see my Amazon Favorites page to check out all of the other products I’m loving. I try to update that as I’m finding new items, so its a great place to check if you’re looking for some great Amazon finds!

I’ll get these out of the way first. I wanted to try out a different pair of leopard mules so I grabbed these Marc Fisher Whiley Mules. Unfortunately, they are currently out of stock. I’m still going to link them, just in case they do come back in stock. I took a poll on my Instagram and Facebook stories, asking which everyone preferred. Instagram actually liked these better and Facebook preferred the Caslon pair from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Here’s the deal. I liked both. I really did. They were both so cute, but very different. I feel like the Marc Fisher were slightly more dressy while the Caslon pair were easier to dress up or down. I’m returning the Marc Fisher for no other reason than the fact that I had a Nordy Note and only had to pay like $9 out of pocket for my Caslon pair. That was my deciding factor, since I liked them both. I’d say they’re TTS, I’m wearing a 9. They might have been slightly big on me, I’m between an 8 and 9 in shoes, depending on the brand and style.

Next, this dress. You guys, this dress is perfection. Its by Amazon’s brand, Daily Ritual and I’m 100% serious that you need this dress in your life. It looks dressy enough that you can dress it up, but its literally as comfortable as a nightgown. Like, I never want to take it off. Its a thick material, but not so thick that you’ll melt down while wearing it. I threw it on with these shoes and it looked perfect. Just needed some accessories and I’d have been done. It runs TTS, I’m wearing a small. (It’s a true midi length dress. I’m 5’4″ for reference.) It also comes in several different color options. The black and white striped version looks adorable as well!

I actually went ahead and paired it with this Denim Boyfriend Jacket, also by Daily Ritual. If you’re in need of a good denim jacket I highly recommend this one. I’m not keeping it, simply because I have one that I like from Old Navy. But this one is good. I’m wearing a small and its huge. So I highly recommend sizing down. Yes It is a boyfriend fit jacket, so I know it’s meant to be oversized, but even with that in mind, I would have preferred an XS. This is seriously such a good option for an affordable denim jacket.

Then, the next day, as I was working on this it donned on me that I could dress it down a bit by tying the jacket around my waist and throwing on my Chucks. So, so, so versatile!

My goal with this Amazon Prime Wardrobe box was to try out as many items that are exclusive to Amazon as I could. So far I’ve absolutely loved everything I’ve tried by Daily Ritual and was pumped to try more. I could not resist these Levi’s though. They are a brand new pair that was customized by Chanel Iman Shepard. I knew when I added them to my box that I wasn’t going to buy them, because $100 jeans just aren’t in the budget right now. But, as always, Levi’s does not disappoint! The grey color is perfect, they have just a slight distressing on the knee, and they had just the right amount of stretch and structure! I just loved them. The only problem was, they were about 3 feet too long. Obviously I’m exaggerating, but they’re folded twice in this picture. (#shortpeopleproblems). I really do love them and if they’re in your budget, I highly recommend them. They’re TTS I’m wearing a 27.

I paired them with this sweatshirt that literally feels like you’re wearing a cloud. If I knew what that felt like… It would be the perfect sweatshirt to cuddle up in on the couch on a cool fall day. It also looks nice enough that it can be worn with dress pants! It’s TTS, I’m wearing a small.

Sticking to my original plan I tried a pair of black raw hem denim by the brand Find, by Amazon. These jeans were super comfortable. They were a mid/high rise and had a raw hem. They had a really good amount of stretch and were just really great! They were under $40, so if you’re looking for a good pair of black denim for a decent price, these are perfect! They’re TTS I’m wearing a 4.

I don’t know about you but I’m forever trying to find a new favorite basic tee. This set was a good option for the price, but they ran VERY small. I knew this based on the reviews so I went with the medium. They fit but I probably would have preferred a large. They’re comfortable and a great staple. Also, super affordable, they come in a pack of three with many different options for colors. But definitely size up at least one, maybe two sizes.

I switched to the black shirt and threw on these leggings and cardigan. The leggings aren’t actually from my prime wardrobe box, but they are from Amazon. They’re the 90 Degree by Reflex leggings that we all know and love (If you don’t.. get a pair. You can thank me later – Great Zella Dupes) They’re meant to be a faux leather legging dupe, but really they just look like shiny snakeskin pattern up close. I haven’t decided whether to keep or return them yet. The fact that I’m waffling over it here on the blog is pretty much me answering my own question. Honestly I really like the leggings, they’re just not the exact look I was going for. I still recommend them!

This cardigan, you guys… Its so soft. Its the same material as that sweatshirt above. They’re like a cotton/modal blend and I’m telling you they’re so comfortable! I highly recommend sizing down if you’re between sizes. I’m wearing a small and its definitely big on me.

I’m adding this sweatshirt because it came this afternoon and I’m obsessed with it! It’s not from prime wardrobe, or eligible for it, but it’s good! It comes in all kinds of camo and leopard which are the only two patterns you need! Lol! I’m wearing the camel leopard option in a size medium, so size up!

I absolutely love that Amazon is offering this feature! If you haven’t tried it you absolutely should! It’s such a great concept! And you definitely need some Daily Ritual items in your closet!

Amazon Prime Day Picks

Of course, everyone knows that today is Prime Day! I’ve been disappointed by the deals in the past, but I’ve found a ton of great things this year! Just remember that some of these items are lightning deals and only available for a short amount of time. Additionally some of them will for sure sell out!

Let’s focus on skincare and makeup first, shall we? The first thing I found was the St Tropez Bronzing Mousse. Such a great sunless tanner and its a great price at only $29.40.

Next, there are a ton of Supergoop products for 30% off! That’s an amazing discount. I’ve been using and LOVING everything from Supergoop and I can tell you that you never get this much of a discount on these products! Here are some of my must haves!

Jen from The Sister Studio (who am I kidding, I’m sure you know who she is!) RAVES about this Vitamin E Oil! She has talked about it so many times! Definitely a product I want to try!

Clothing and Accessories

There are quite a few great fashion finds as well! A ton of great items! Here are some of my favorites! One tip, for a lot of these, you have to select the color and size you want in order for it to reflect the discount price!

For the Home

Great deals on all of the Amazon electronics! We have several Echo Dots and an Echo. We also use our Firestick regularly too! They’re great to have all around the house. My oldest can finally talk to Alexa so that she can hear and understand him and he LOVES it.

I love a good cold brew coffee. Definitely considering this guy to make my own!

If you have a shower curtain, these are hands down the best style of curtain hangers! They slide so smoothly over the curtain rod. Its like nothing I’ve ever seen!

Kids and Baby

Water wipes are hands down my favorite wipes! You can get an additional 20% off!

Amazon Prime Wardrobe

Online shopping is great, but there are just some things that need to be tried on. And who wants to order something online, find it doesn’t fit when it arrives, and then have to package it back up and take it to UPS to return it. (Okay, maybe I’m being a little bit dramatic, but then what’s the point of telling the story?) Honestly, with it being summer break, and having two little guys, it’s not often I’ll be finding much alone time to do a ton of shopping in store.

When I first read about Prime Wardrobe, it immediately caught my attention. You mean I can order things on Amazon, try them on, and then pay for what I want to keep and send the rest back?? It’s like having a fitting room in my own house! Of course, you still have to return things if they don’t work, but you never get charged for them. When you order something online and then return it, it can take weeks to be refunded. And who has time for that? This is basically getting clothes sent to you to try on for free and sending back what doesn’t work and buying what does.

I will say, as I was perusing the items on Amazon, a lot of things I was interested in trying either weren’t available for Prime Wardrobe, or if they were, my size was sold out. Oh well. I’ll try again next time. They do have a lot of the Amazon brand, Daily Ritual. Which from my experience is all really good quality. I’ve got several items from that line and love them. So I was excited to try more! I know that a lot of the cheaper items on Amazon (some of my favorite things) seem to be ineligible for Prime Wardrobe. Which honestly isn’t that surprising.

The way it works is, you choose 3-8 items that are eligible for Prime Wardrobe, check out, and wait for your package to arrive. They give you a total value of everything you’re getting when you check out, but your card does not get charged until you checkout again online, at which time you tell them what you’re keeping and what you’re sending back (and why you’re returning it).

When I opened the package I pulled out my packing slip, which gave me a breakdown of each item and it’s cost – super helpful, because I had completely forgotten how much everything was. Each item was wrapped individually in its own plastic bag – easy to keep track of what goes where when you’re returning. Lastly, the pre-printed return label.

You have 7 days from the delivery date to check out and return the items. If you don’t do anything by the 7 day mark they just charge you for everything and it’s yours. My package was delivered on Friday, May 31. I have until Friday, June 7 to return it.

I definitely spent some time scouring the website to decide what items I really wanted to try on. Of course I filled it with the maximum number of items, because why wouldn’t you. It’s already coming to my house, I might as well get as much as I can.

Item #1 – Daily Ritual Women’s Skinny Stretch Jegging

Unfortunately, these are going back. I honestly can’t even give a fit review, because they are SO big on me. I ordered a medium short, because I haven’t worn a size small in any pants since middle school. I definitely liked the color, the style was good, the material seemed great, I just don’t have an opinion of the fit. Overall, they have a 4 star rating with over 1000 reviews, so they must be good, just make sure to get the right size.

Item #2 – Daily Ritual Women’s Tencel Tie Waist Jogger

These honestly weren’t terrible, but the combination of them being a tad too large, and the material just didn’t sit right on me. If they were more of a cotton/spandex material, I believe they would have worked a bit better for me. They’re really nice. They are a great fabric and I absolutely loved the color, but they’ll be going back as well. You can see these on me in the photo below.

Item #3 – Daily Ritual Women’s Lightweight 100% Supima Cotton Short-Sleeve V-Neck T-Shirts

These shirts are so good! I sized up to a medium, because I prefer my T-shirts to fit a little more on the loose side and they were perfect. I would honestly say if anything, that they run a tad on the small side. A small would have not fit me the way I’d have liked it to. I highly recommend them. And the price is unbeatable! It was two shirts for $17!

Item #4 – Daily Ritual Women’s Cozy Knit Dolman-Sleeve V-Neck Tunic

This top is so soft! I have nothing but positive things to say about it. First of all, the color is gorgeous. Its a heavier material, so its not see through at all! It has a wider neck so you could easily wear a cute bralette and see just the top of it. Its a longer top, so it looks great with a front tuck or would also pair with leggings really well! I took one photo tucked into my shorts and one untucked so you can see the length. This item is TTS – I got my normal size small.

Item #5 – Levi’s Women’s 501 Shorts, Black Eye

I loved these! They fit me perfectly. I’m sending them back, however, simply because they are $20 more than the other two pairs. They’re really comfortable and high waisted. However, of the three pairs I tried, I would say they are a bit on the short side. It didn’t bother me that much, and I prefer my shorts to be longer, so they really weren’t that short. Just something to keep in mind. These are TTS – I got my normal size 6.

Item #6 – Alternative Women’s Printed Slouchy Pullover, Eco Grey/Camo

This one is for sure a keeper! I sized up to a medium because I wanted a more oversized fit. I would say it fits perfectly oversized! I love this. Of course, its probably just because it has camo, let’s be honest! Its super soft and comfortable. Perfect for cooler summer days, like today, and transitioning into fall. You can see another photo in the flat-lay below. I would say the item is TTS – I easily could have fit into a small, but as I said I went with the medium for that oversized fit.

Item # 7 – Levi’s Women’s 501 Shorts, Blanco

I’m not sure why these are different, but I like them about 100 times more than the black pair. I was actually in the market for a new pair of white shorts so I couldn’t pass these up! They fit perfectly true to size. They have just the right amount of stretch. They aren’t see through AT ALL. (Little secret, I planned poorly and was wearing black underwear when I took these photos, and you can’t tell!) You can also see them in several photos above. These are TTS – I got my normal size 6.

Item # 8 – Levi’s Women’s 501 Shorts, Got Owned

These are great as well, however, I am sending them back. I preferred the white pair because they were more stretchy. This pair was great! They clearly stated on the tag that they had no stretch. This kind of material definitely has its time and place. I would have kept them, honestly, but I have my favorite pair from American Eagle that is just slightly darker than this one, so I’m sending them back. They weren’t uncomfortable at all. I just didn’t need them. I would say they are TTS – I got my normal size 6.

Overall, my experience with Prime Wardrobe was a pleasant one. I really liked that I could shop through tons of items on Amazon, have them delivered to my door, and ship them back if I didn’t want to keep them! I think it’s a great idea and I hope you give it a shot too!
